Join me, Leanne Townsend of Wild Food Stories on an Autumn foraging adventure. This event focuses on the Autumnal foraging treasures to be found in our woodlands and hedgerows. Delve into the culinary delights of the natural world, and learn how to identify a diverse range of wild plants and fungi growing in Scotland's wild places. On this gentle walk around the woods and hedgerows of the Alford countryside, you will expand your knowledge of Autumn foraging, and learn how to transform wild ingredients into nutritious and delicious dishes and preserves. Experience first hand how foraging promotes relaxation, wellbeing and strengthens your connection with nature. Explore the medicinal properties of mushrooms, and the world of plant and mushroom folklore. Following the forage we will enjoy a delicious rustic wild lunch.
