About the event

Join me on an early evening summer foraging walk in Aberdeen. Learn how to safely identify a diverse range of wild plants growing on your doorstep. On this two-hour gentle walk, you will learn  the main principles of foraging, including safety, sustainability and ethics, as well as how foraging contributes to your health and wellbeing. Learn about the numerous ways that wild food can be incorporated into your diet and prepared in nutritious and delicious recipes. Suitable for all ages (babes in arms free, everyone else must be in possession of a ticket). Please wear sensible footwear and weather appropriate clothing; consider brining a basket or canvas bag for foraging (though we tend not to forage large harvests on these events), a camera (or camera phone), and a notebook if you wish to take notes on the walk.

Pay as you are able - there are three levels of pricing - I would like this event to be as accessible as possible.

* Note this is a walk only and no food is served.
