About the event

Join Leanne Townsend of Wild Food Stories at Scottish Wild Food Festival for a unique outdoor dining experience featuring a delicious assortment of wild preserves and picnic treats, all inspired by the bounty of the great outdoors. Indulge in a rustic spread of picnic favorites with a wild twist—think wild mushroom pate, wild pickles, spring greens salads, wildcrafted beverages and handmade pies, followed by wild-spiced bakes and wildflower cakes. Everything will be prepared using locally sourced wild and seasonal ingredients. Leanne will introduce each element of the picnic, talking through the wild ingredients themselves as well as the preservation and preparation methods involved. Due to the nature of this event it will not be possible to cater to dietary requirements.

Dates available: Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2025. Price £30 per person. Duration 90 minutes. No minimum age, but all participants pay full price.
